Privacy Policy

The short version
Your birth date, time and place stay on your phone. To write AI readings, the server receives only your four pillars (e.g. 甲戌) and today's date. We don't sell data and we don't use advertising trackers.
你的出生日期、時間和地點只留在手機上。伺服器只收到你的四柱（例如甲戌）和今天的日期。我們不出售資料，也不使用廣告追蹤。
What we collect
- Account: a random account id. If you use Sign in with Apple, the Apple user id Apple gives us (we don't request your name or email).
- Chart data for readings: your four pillars, today's date and your language, sent when a reading is requested. We don't store the AI's text on our server.
- Usage: app events such as "opened the app" or "viewed the paywall", with the app version, so we can fix bugs and improve the app. They are tied to your account id, not your name.
- Purchases: your subscription status from Apple, so Pro works on every device you sign in on.
- Crash reports and reported readings: the type of crash, and the text of any reading you choose to report. They are tied to your account id.
- Abuse prevention: a salted hash of your IP address counts new anonymous accounts per day. It is deleted within two days.
- Waitlist (website): your email and day master (日主) if you join. Your birth date is used to show the preview and is not stored.
Who processes it
- Cloudflare hosts our servers and database.
- OpenRouter routes reading requests to an AI model provider. We only use providers that don't retain or train on the data.
- Apple handles sign-in and payments.
Your choices
- Delete: Me › Account › Delete account removes your account, purchase records, usage records and events from our server right away, and your chart, saved people and history from this device.
- Notifications: we ask before sending any. Change or turn off the daily reminder in Me, or in iPhone Settings.
- Export: Me › Privacy › Export my data gives you one file with what's on your device and what our server holds.
- Usage data: turn it off in Me › Privacy. In the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland we ask first and send nothing until you say yes.

Children
Pillars is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data. Setup stops if the birth date entered is under 13.
